Hammerfall is rolling through San Francisco in March to set fire with some anthemic Swedish power metal. It’s fitting then, that the oldest most veteran power metal band in the Bay Area, Ruffians, should open up the show. The Berkeley power metal band released their first album in 1985, took a break for several years and is now working on an album for 2010. Ruffians will be hitting Europe this spring for a few rock and metal festivals before returning home. Check out their tunes and keep track of their tour schedule on their myspace page.
