Poll: Do you buy albums on vinyl?

Is it me, or are more bands releasing albums on vinyl these days? I think the last few shows I’ve been to there have been vinyl records for sale at every single merch booth, so someone must be buying them. I can see why vinyl might be getting more popular; as they represent a sort of counter-culture to the digital revolution. Offering a way perhaps to “connect” more with the band while offering up feelings of nostalgia and tradition. On the other hand, who the fuck owns a record player? Can you even buy a record player these days that isn’t sold on Ebay?

Personally, I don’t know anyone with a record player. My parents don’t even have one. But I know that there are some of yous out there that love you some vinyl. So, what we want to know is:

Do you buy vinyl records?

Dan Spiteri is the owner and main shenanigan distributor of Bay Area Metal Scene. When he's not blasting his hearing into oblivion, you can find him doing "outdoorsy" stuff like skiing, bike riding and drinking cheap beer.
