Ardentis – Russia’s New Ambassador

You typically haven’t heard much in the way of metal coming out of Russia in the past. Actually, I can’t think of any bands I’ve ever seen that are from the great land of perma-frost and vodka. I have a feeling that’s about to change though. Russian metal band September in the Dark is trying their hardest to get signed to Roadrunner Records, where they currently hold the #1 metal spot in the “sign me to Roadrunner” deal. The band’s sound is a combination of death metal and hardcore groove metal, that of the likes of Sepultura or Skinlab. Check out the song “My Queen and 23 Black Roses“.

Dan Spiteri is the owner and main shenanigan distributor of Bay Area Metal Scene. When he's not blasting his hearing into oblivion, you can find him doing "outdoorsy" stuff like skiing, bike riding and drinking cheap beer.

  1. Some time ago, I needed to buy a house for my firm but I didn’t earn enough cash and could not order anything. Thank goodness my mate proposed to try to take the mortgage loans at creditors. Hence, I did that and was happy with my financial loan.
